Merry Christmas!

Halloween and Fall Fest!

Renee's Dad and younger siblings came up to celebrate a weekend of fall fun in Virginia. We went trick-or-treating Friday night. Travis was Uncle Sam. Renee found an old blue sport coat at good will and made really long red and white striped drawstring pants. We really had fun with Halloween this year!

Saturday afternoon, we went up to Coles Knob Farm and took a "hay" ride over to the apple orchard, picked apples, pressed them in the cider press, and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. Renee's Aunt, Uncle, and cousins came up from Winston-Salem, North Carolina to join them for Coles Knob fun.

It was a gorgeous, 70 degree fall day both days! That is very unusual for the mountains of Virginia. What great memories!

Triathalon!

We went to cheer Daddy on in a triathalon in Charlotte last weekend. It was fun.

It's about time we posted some more pictures of our little Callie Ann. She's such a sweet little girl. When I get home from work she always curls up a little smile for me. Addie Penny is really growing up and surprises us daily with her lively personality.

What a Find!

This is my Granny Jo's grandmother that came over from Germany! Her name is Maria K. Wissing. Some one on ancestry.com found it while looking through her grandfather's files.

Callie Ann Hall

Callie is a fantastic sleeper and eater and just as cute a button!

Callie Ann Hall joined our Family!

Callie Ann Hall was born on Jan 30th, 2008 at 7 lbs 7.6 oz and 19 3/4" long. She has a dark head of hair and a rich complexion. Her poor mother labored for 30 hours before circumstances required her to have a C-section. Renee and Callie are doing very well. We are grateful to have Callie's grandmothers so close by to help take care of Addie while Renee recovers and tends to Callie.
So, I am now the proud Poppa of two beautiful girls, and couldn't be happier!
